I feel it's improperly utilized in our games. We're doing great by using it as cover to push side routes, but we need moar! We should definitely flesh out comps and contingencies. A good example is two Rein's rubbing shields together. Happens a lot on Hanamura A(first point). It may seem obvious, but trading shots into shields gives us no advantage. So, how can we better use this asset: * If we're trading shield-shots, having a collective dps rivaling a Bastion should win us the trade. - What happens after we down their shield? Burst down Rein? Rush supports? * Create safe passage to side routes. * Use the shield to isolate enemies. This requires his back to be turned to one or two, so dps and healz need to be ready! * A lone Reinhardt with a shield up is like peanut butter on your bits. Dim dogs gonna lick. How to capitalize? * Shield up + high ground + focus fire. In non-comp, imagine 1 Rein and 5 Mccrees. MC's all left click the same person, rinse, repeat. Hawt. This link may be outdated... but it shows dps per character. us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20744955084Extra info... this explains a Death Ball, which uses a ReinShield. There's also a forum entry. www.youtube.com/watch?v=t03qi60-b5k
